And her line will be the first new house created by the group since Christian Lacroix in 1987. And Rihanna has been named the world’s richest female musician by Forbes magazine.
At New York’s fashion week, Rihanna’s lingerie show was the talk of the town. Not only because guests were banned from using their phones after Amazon Prime Video bagged the rights to stream it or because the red carpet was full of stars such as Gigi Hadid or Cara Delevigne. Rihanna’s show was a success because it was an epic moment in fashion History. Something too big for social medias and too fabulous for not getting everybody’s attention.
Rihanna performed and appeared on the catwalk, which was actually a stage at the Barclays Centre, giving us the performance of a lifetime with a body inclusive message and pieces that are stocked from sizes XS-3XL. Like with Fenty, Rihanna has celebrated diversity with models of different horizons, shapes, sizes and ethnicities. And guess what ? It worked.
