The Hollywood actress, known to many people for her starring roles in films such as Mamma Mia, Chloe or Gringo, is Lancôme’s new global ambassador. “Amanda brings her immense talent as an actress and singer, her natural beauty, and unequalled zest for life to our world. She perfectly represents our values and we look forward to an exciting time together,” said Francoise Lehmann, the Lancôme International President, in a press release.
To celebrate the announcement, the brand posted a series of portraits shot by Nico Bustos featuring Seyfried.
Since she posed with a rose, we might think that this campaign could be for Lancôme’s latest rose-infused beauty products : Rose Sorbet Cryo Mask and Rose Milk Mist. After celebrating her new gig on Instagram, Seyfried took to the social media app to share a behind-the scenes video from a shoot she was doing with Lancôme in Paris. “You look absolutely stunning,” the official Lancome account commented on the video, before adding: “We are thrilled to have you as a member of the family.”
I can not wait for this campaign and have great hope for this, considering the fact that Lancôme is a brand that has always developed great story telling strategies and great visuals which can be seen as artwork for the masses. Along with Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz, Amanda Seyfried will represent Lancôme’s values in advertising campaigns for the brand starting in early 2020.
